Dr. Mensa Otabil’s International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) has issued directive on the conduct of service following the government easing of restrictions.
In a statement, the church said all local assemblies (neighbourhood ICGC churches) are to remain closed and that members are to continue with the online services.
It also stated that guidelines for weddings and funerals will be outlined soon as the government has also relaxed the restriction placed on those activities.

This comes a day after the Ministry of Chieftiancy and Religious Affairs outlined a number of directives religious bodies must follow to reopen their churches.
The directives included a ban on the waving of handkerchiefs, prepackaged Lord’s Supper, avoiding the use of air conditions, among others.
There was also an advice to the elderly and persons with underlying health conditions such as diabetes and hypertension to stay away from churches and mosques.
Yesterday, a number of churches including Makers House Chapel International also announced that it will not be opening its doors.
