All over the United States of America, protests are being held to seek for justice over the death of George Floyd.

George Floyd, an African-American man, died in Minneapolis on May 25, 2020, after a white police officer knelt on Floyd’s neck during an arrest.

Some Liverpool players including Virgil van Dijk, James Milner and Joe Gomez tweeted a photo of the team taking a knee around the centre circle of Anfield.

“Unity is strength #BlackLivesMatter” is how they all captioned their tweets.
