Ghana’s COVID-19 Death Toll Rises To 36 As Government Considers Relaxing Restrictions

A total of 36 people have lost their lives to coronavirus in Ghana, the Ghana Health Service has said.

This comes as the country has recorded 7,881 coronavirus cases and 2841 recoveries.

Currently, all the 16 regions but Ahafo Region has confirmed at least one case of coronavirus.

There are 5,004 active cases of coronavirus infections being treated in the hospitals and isolation centers across the country.

As the government’s borders closure and ban on social gatherings will be elapsing today, many Ghanaians are looking out for new directives from President Akufo Addo tonight.
