The World’s Largest All-Electric Plane Makes Its Maiden Flight

Aviation history was made this week when the world’s largest all-electric plane took its maiden flight.

The all-electric eCaravan is a retrofitted Cessna Caravan208b and can carry nine people.

The aircraft, which uses electric propulsion systems, made its first flight on Thursday, May 29, 2020.

It flew for 30 minutes over Washington State.

The all-electric plane is projected to begin commercial use in 2021.
