COVID-19: Ministry Of Information Outlines Safety Protocols

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah

The Ministry of Information has outlined some COVID-19 safety protocols that should be followed by its clients and stakeholders at its office.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, the safety protocols are in line with the directives of the Government of Ghana and the World Health Organisation (WHO) to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

As part of the protocols, the physical delivery of correspondence to the Ministry will not be allowed. The Ministry, however, advises stakeholders to send all official correspondences via the email address: [email protected]

The Ministry of Information also stated that besides attendance of programmes such as Press Briefings, it is going to scale down the number of visitors to its work premises.

The Ministry also indicated that meetings will “as far as is practicable be organised virtually.”
