Popular Songs That Were Actually Made For Movies

Bisa Kdei, Wiz Khalifa have both made viral movie soundtracks

Movies with amazing soundtracks are super exciting probably because most movies put in the barest minimum in getting a great soundtrack.

Sometimes the song is so good it is able to stand alone as a song and not just “oh that’s this movie’s soundtrack”

There are a lot of these soundtracks but we picked 6 songs that definitely went viral in Ghana over the years and we bet some people still don’t know they were made for movies!

Live performance of My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion

The oldies will know this classic tune from the songstress, Celine Dion. What some people forget is, the song was for the movie, Titanic and mind blowing fact, she sang the song in one take when she recorded. Just once and it was perfect.

See You Again

Music video from Wiz Khalifa

For the young people, this song is one of the emotional hit songs ever! It was so sad because it was made by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth in memory of the actor, Paul Walker who died in a tragic car crash and was one of the main stars in the movie franchise, Fast and Furious.

For some of us, this song was on our daily playlist. Some think Ana Kendrick, the actress who performed the song in the movie, Pitch Perfect 2 is behind the song but surprise…The song is actually by the British singer, Jessie J.
