On May 23, 2020, we did a report on David, a young man who has been battling an immune system disease for about a year now.
The immune system disease he has been diagnosed with has no cure and can only be managed.
His friends who had been supporting him by paying for his feeding, drugs and nurse care were unable to continue due to inadequate funds.
His friends, however, resorted to soliciting funds through social media and GoFundMe to help save him.
Well, there is good news now! David’s friends have been able to reach their target of $2,000.
Actually, David’s GoFundMe page indicates that an amount of $2,055 has been achieved so far.
David is currently receiving treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and he is responding well, one of his friends revealed.
His friends are grateful to everyone who donated to save David’s life.
