Tertiary education in the country keeps growing year after year.
Today, President Akufo Addo has made two private universities fully fledged independent universities.
The Pentecost University and the All Nations University have today, become independent universities in the country.
It means, these two universities can run their own programmes and award their own degrees and diplomas.
Until today, they had to be affiliated with an autonomous university such as the University of Ghana and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
But, now they are on their own – independent. Their activities will still be regulated by the National Accreditation Board.
