Samira Bawumia Donates To Noguchi Memorial Institute

Samira Bawumia, Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana has donated COVID-19 relief items to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.

The items she donated included KC100 protective gowns 1000 pieces, 1000 pairs of Surgical gloves. 1000 Nose masks, 10 boxes of Hand sanitizers, 50 boxes of Biscuits, 50 packs of drinks, and 50 packs of water.

Second Lady of Ghana, Samira Bawumia made a donation to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.

After donating the items to the Institute, she commended virologists and experts at Noguchi for their contributions towards the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

“Noguchi has been so helpful to the fight against this virus and l wish to commend you for that,” She said.

She added that government will continue to support the work and activities of the Institute.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Samira Bawumia has donated to several facilities, including Pantang, Accra Psychiatric Hospital, Maamobi General Hospital, and Nima Polyclinic.
