Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases Hit 7,117

Ghana’s coronavirus cases have now surpassed the 7,000 mark, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed in its latest update.

153 new COVID-19 infections have taken the country’s total number of cases to 7,117.

The Ghana Health Service also indicated that 220 more patients have recovered from the disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 2,317.

The death toll have also increased to 34.

The Greater Accra Region still leads with 5,008 cases, Ashanti Region is second with 1,085 cases, Central Region – 344, Western Region – 337, Eastern Region – 108, Western North Region – 62, Volta Region – 59, Northern Region – 36, Oti Region – 26, Upper East Region – 26, Upper West Region – 22, North East Region – 2, Savannah – 1, Bono Region – 1.

Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions with no coronavirus cases.
