COVID-19: Ghana’s Death Toll Rises To 34

Two more patients have died of COVID-19 in Ghana, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed.

The new deaths have now taken the country’s death toll to 34.

The Ghana Health Service also confirmed that the country’s total number of coronavirus cases have increased to 7,117 after 153 new cases were recorded.

The number of recovery cases also keeps going up, as 220 more patients have recovered from the disease. The total number of recoveries now stand at 2,317.

The Greater Accra Region still leads with 5,008 cases, Ashanti Region is second with 1,085 cases, Central Region – 344, Western Region – 337, Eastern Region – 108, Western North Region – 62, Volta Region – 59, Northern Region – 36, Oti Region – 26, Upper East Region – 26, Upper West Region – 22, North East Region – 2, Savannah – 1, Bono Region – 1.

Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions with no coronavirus cases.
