Ghana’s COVID-19 Recoveries Hit 2,000

Isolation centre beds empty after patients recovered from coronavirus

Ghana has recorded a great feat in the fight against coronavirus as the total number of recovery cases have hit the 2,000 mark.

The country’s total recoveries now stands at 2,070 after 75 more patients recovered from the disease.

The Ghana Health Service confirmed this in its latest update on the COVID-19 website.

However, Ghana’s total coronavirus cases have also increased to 6,808 after 125 new infections were recorded.

The number of deaths still stands at 32, since the last update on May 24.

The Greater Accra Region still leads with 4,836 cases, Ashanti Region is second with 1,062 cases, Central Region – 306, Western Region – 277, Eastern Region – 106, Western North Region – 62, Volta Region – 47, Northern Region – 36, Oti Region – 26, Upper East Region – 26, Upper West Region – 21, North East Region – 2, Savannah – 1, Bono Region – 1.

Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions with no coronavirus cases.
