Today, Muslims in Ghana are joining others around the world to mark the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
But for the coronavirus pandemic, the day would have been one of festivities and merry making.
However, forced to the confines of their homes, muslims are still going ahead to celebrate the day.
The National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu will lead a virtual prayer session to mark the end of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the highest ranking Muslims in Ghana, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira Bawumia have sent their seasons greetings to all muslims.
They urged all of them to continue adhering to safety protocols while celebrating the importance of the day.

President Akufo Addo has also sent his special wishes in a statement.
He shared his hopes for a better celebration next year.
