5,000 MSMEs Apply For Government Coronavirus Soft Loan

A total of 5,000 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises have applied for the government’s soft loan programme aimed at helping businesses during coronavirus pandemic.

Last Tuesday, the President Akufo Addo launched the programme with a fund of GHS 1 billion. Initially, GHS 600 million was earmarked for the programme.

Successful applicants will receive their soft loans with a 3 per cent interest rate and between 2 to 3 years repayment period.

If you are a business leader and you have a workforce of between 1 to 99 employees then you meet one of the many requirements to apply for the soft loan.
