Health workers are being appreciated a lot now due to the coronavirus pandemic.
All over the world, health workers are at the frontline, sacrificing their time and lives to help treat coronavirus patients.
The have become our super heroes in these times.
It is, however, sad to note that some of these frontline health staff have been infected with the virus and others have also died as a result of contracting the virus.
Joel Nana Kwame Junior, a Staff Nurse at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital is using his Instagram page to show Ghanaians what health workers go through every day in the fight against coronavirus.
He also uses his page to educate Ghanaians on precautionary measures and the need to stay home to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Joel, however, has adopted a special way of creating awareness on his Instagram page. In most of his videos, he is seen dancing while in a PPE. He communicates his messages in his captions.
According to Joel, he decided to make such videos to allay fears and give people hope that everything will be fine while educating them on COVID-19.
“I didn’t even mean to post the video at first, a colleague of mine posted it and people liked it so I decided to do more to and use it as a diversional therapy,” he said
In the video below, Joel and a colleague advise Ghanaians to stay at home to stop the spread of the virus.
