Ghana’s Coronavirus Case Now 5,638 With 28 Deaths

Ghana’s total coronavirus cases have shot up to 5,638, the Ghana Heath Service has confirmed

This, however, means that a total of 108 new cases have been recorded since the last update on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

The Ghana Health Service also confirmed that four more patients have succumbed to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 28.

The great news that has come out of this latest update is the massive increase in recovery cases.

Ghana’s total recovery cases now stand at 1,460 after 786 more patients recovered from the disease.

The Greater Accra Region still leads with 4,248 cases, followed by Ashanti Region with 798 cases, Central Region with 210, Eastern Region – 99, Western Region – 87, Western North Region – 57, Volta Region – 34, Northern Region – 31, Oti Region – 26, Upper East Region – 26, Upper West Region – 21, North East Region – 2, Bono Region – 1.

Savannah Region, Ahafo Region and Bono East Region have not recorded coronavirus cases.
