Investigators of the Ghana Police Service have launched a probe into a possible situation that might involve a serial laptop thief.

This came to light after an incident occurred yesterday in the Ghana Shippers Authority building near the Ridge Regional Hospital.

Ebenezer Solomon, whose laptop was reportedly stolen was in the building to attend an interview yesterday.

Just when he was called to meet the panel, another man who had finished his interview asked Solomon for a favor to use his laptop to print out his CV, Solomon told Kuulpeeps.com as he narrated the incident.

Kind Solomon, obliged and he gave him his MacBook and he went ahead to meet the panel.

But that was after Solomon had informed the Front Desk Executive to monitor the fellow he had just handed his new laptop to.

CCTV camera footage captured the incident including when the man, who has now been identified as Eric Akwasi Adjei, left the premises of the Ghana Shippers Authority building while on a phone call.

The footage also showed the Front Desk Executive go after Eric but he reportedly told her he would be right back.

Realizing that his laptop which he hasn’t finished paying for might be stolen, Solomon said he drew the attention of the panel to the incident who also helped by giving him access to Eric’s CV.

Solomon then reported the incident to the police station who then dispatched officers to the premises to start their investigation into the case.

Solomon and his friends took to social media to ask for help to locate Eric in hopes of retrieving his laptop which he says contains important documents about his marketing profession.

It was after Solomon went online with his case that others also started reporting similar incidents reportedly involving the same person.
