Ashesi University today, May 15, 2020, sent a tweet informing its students about a 50% discount on Apple Music and free access to Apple+ for a year.

According to some Twitter users, the 50% discount on Apple Music subscription is not exclusive to Ashesi students, but it is a benefit that every student in Ghana can enjoy.

One Twitter user, @BeingKofi explained how the process works.

He wrote: “Ashesi students calm down okay. If you have a verifiable student email address usually looking like>> [email protected] you can enjoy the Apple student package. Most Ghanaian universities create these accounts for their students upon admission. ++ U need a funded credit/debit card.”
