Economic activities are slowly getting back to normal… a new normal that is.
After the president’s address last Sunday, the Ghana Tourism Authority has issued a 5-point directives to operators in the hospitality sector.
Among those directives is allowing hotels to “operate as normal and host their guests, subject to the specified elevated hygiene protocols and social distancing.”
Food chains and restaurants have also been allowed to operate sit-down services. They were initially only permitted to provide only pick-up or delivery services.
However, night clubs have been asked to remain shut while drinking bars can operate with social distancing and hygienic protocols.
