There is so much information that comes across our timelines every single day. You might see something today that you just shrug at. However, a couple of days later, you’ll realize that you might need that very thing. There are so many businesses, resources and memes on twitter that you might want to go back and find something in particular. However, with over 300 million active monthly users (source: Hubspot), I had trouble locating a single tweet. I was lost in the sea of tweets until a coworker recommended Twitter’s advanced search.
Twitter Advanced Search
The Advanced Search option can’t be accessed from the mobile app. You will have to use a web browser.
Firstly, you need to go to the Explore Page, as you see above. And then enter keywords from the tweet that you are looking for.
After that, you can narrow down the results using the Advanced Search option located under the Search Filters tab on the right side of the page.
The Advanced Search window will allow you to narrow down the results and find the tweet that you’re looking for. The more that you remember about the tweet, the easier it is to find. You can narrow down the results by specifying the language that your tweet was made in, the date that it was tweeted, how many likes that it got, how many retweets, geographic location and so much more.
