The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has released criteria for the assessment of students for the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.

According to a statement released by the university, students should be assessed for the End of Semester Examinations based on the average score of three to five online written assignments of students (per course) as determined by the peculiarity of the course/programme.

For the assessment of thesis for undergraduate final years, students in science-based programmes who have collected sufficient data for their project work are to put together a write-up and submit their work for assessment.

Students without data are to be given the option to write a long essay in lieu of project work.
