Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 5,127

Coronavirus Positive Cases

Ghana’s total coronavirus cases have increased to 5,127, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed.

This increase comes after 427 new cases were recorded.

Dr Patrick Aboagye, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service disclosed this new information at a COVID-19 media brief on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

According to Dr Patrick Aboagye, the out of the 427 new cases, 272 were recorded from Obuasi in the Ashanti Region.

The Ghana Health Service also indicated that no new recoveries have been recorded since the last update on May 10, 2020. The total recovery cases, however, stand at 494.

Ghana has also not recorded any new deaths.
