AfroNation has announced it’s lineup of artists for a concert in Portugal in 2021 that includes five Ghanaian musicians.
AfroNation disclosed in a statement that the concert which was supposed to be held in Portugal this year has been postponed to July 1-3, 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“AfroNation has been closely monitoring this situation and working in a tandem with partners, local authorities and the Portuguese government. The safety of our fans, artists, staff and the local community remain paramount”
“In light of the recent Portuguese Government directive regarding large gatherings, AfroNation Portugal will be postponed to July 1st-3rd 2021 and all tickets remain valid,” the statement read.
AfroNation also announced “the biggest Afrobeats line-up of all time” for AfroNation Portugal 2021.
The lineup include Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, R2Bees and La Meme Gang from Ghana.
Popular African artists that were included in the lineup are Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, 2Baba Teni, Yemi Alade, Diamond Platinumz and Patoranking.
