Final Year Students In Ghana Anticipate Online Graduation Ceremonies

Final year students in universities across the country in recent days have been talking about how their graduation ceremony will be undertaken.

With the ban on social gatherings still in place, it is highly possible that the graduation ceremonies of the various universities in Ghana will be held online like some universities in America and Europe have done.

A lot of conversation on possible online graduation ceremonies are being had on Twitter after President Akufo-Addo announced the extension on the ban on public gatherings till May 31, 2020.

The graduation ceremonies of some universities in Ghana usually take place in June and July.

“Click here to graduate” is the one of the common phrases you will see on Twitter now as some final year students are accepting the possibility of an online graduation ceremony.

There are other final year students who are not too excited about graduating online and would wish to experience the normal graduation ceremony.
