Environmental Health Officer and Assistants who completed their course of study at the Schools of Hygiene in Accra, Tamale and Ho from 2010 to 2019 are set to be posted to the local government service.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Mr James Oppong Mensah, the Acting Chief Director of the Local Government Service.
“The Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Finance has granted the financial clearnace for the posting of Environmental Health Officers and Assistants who completed their course of study at the Schools of Hygiene in Accra, Tamale and Ho from 2010 to 2019.”
The Local Government Office further stated that the approval for this posting is to augment existing capacity to improve the implementation of environmental health and sanitation policies, plans and programmes in the country.
The graduates of the Schools of Hygiene have therefore been directed to visit the Local Government Service’s website www.lgs.gov.gh and complete the information form and upload a scanned copy of their certificate (PDF format) to facilitate the process.
The deadline for submission is Friday May, 22, 2020.
