Ghana’s Coronavirus Recovery Cases Increase To 323

Negative Coronavirus Test

Twenty more COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease in Ghana.

The new recovery cases have taken the total recoveries to 323.

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) confirmed this on its COVID-19 website on May 8, 2020.

GHS also revealed that Ghana’s total cases have shot up to 4,012 after 921 new cases were recorded.

The death toll, however, still remains at 18 since May 2, 2020.

Greater Accra still leads with the most case count with 3,436 cases, Ashanti Region is second with 210 cases and Eastern Region is third with 96 cases.

Central Region has 58, Western North Region – 56, Western Region – 35, Volta Region – 32, Upper East Region -26, Oti Region – 24, Upper West Region – 20, Northern Region – 16, North East Region – 2, Bono Region – 1.

Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions with no cases currently.
