The Multimedia Group has terminated the contract of radio and TV personality Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku.
It is unclear why the media house decided to let one of its star on-air personalities go.
“With immediate effect as of yesterday, my now former employers, Multimedia Group, terminated my appointment,” she said in an Instagram post to her 1.8 million followers.
“It’s not an easy time to be out of a regular and steady income,” she added.
“We are not in normal times, but hey, I would like to use this opportunity to encourage everyone who has lost their job or income during these difficult times to not lose hope,” she said.
Naa Ashorkor was the host of the Showbiz A-Z and Strong and Sasy With Naa Ashorkor on Joy FM.
