Lydia Forson has been invited to be a Commonwealth Goodwill Ambassador by the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS).
Her invitation comes at a time where the Commonwealth is working with other stakeholders to combat COVID-19.
“Over the past few years, we have recognised your love and devotion to the African continent. Specifically, we have proudly watched you as you have carved a unique brand for yourself in the world of entertainment in Africa and beyond,” the invitation letter signed by the Africa head of the RCS office John Apea, stated.
“…we want you to be a part of our new chapter and our campaign for Covid-19,” the letter added.

Lydia Forson announced the invitation on Twitter.
“I’m proud to announce that I’ve officially been invited to be a Commonwealth Goodwill Ambassador,” she wrote.
