Ghana’s Coronavirus Death Toll Hits 18

One more coronavirus patient has succumbed to the disease, the Ghana Health Service has reported.

This was confirmed on the COVID-19 website of the Ghana Health Service, indicating that Ghana’s death toll now stands at 18 as at Saturday, May 2,2020.

The Ghana Health Service also confirmed that the country’s total case count is now 2,169 with the total recovery cases now at 229.

Greater Accra Region still leads with the most cases, with Ashanti and Eastern having the second and third most recorded cases, respectively.

Greater Accra Region has 1,852, Ashanti Region – 117, Eastern Region – 87, Central Region – 21, Oti Region – 19, Upper East Region – 19, Volta Region – 16, Northern Region – 13, Upper West Region – 10, Western Region – 9, Western North Region – 4, North East Region – 2.

Savannah, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions that have not recorded coronavirus cases in the country.
