Ghana’s Coronavirus Cases Now 2,169

Coronavirus Positive Cases

Ghana’s total coronavirus cases have increased to 2,196 after 95 new cases were confirmed on May 2, 2020.

This new information was indicated on the COVID-19 website of the Ghana Health Service.

The Ghana Health Service also confirmed that the country has recorded 18 deaths and 229 recoveries.

Greater Accra Region still leads with the most cases, with Ashanti and Eastern having the second and third most recorded cases, respectively.

Greater Accra Region has 1,852, Ashanti Region – 117, Eastern Region – 87, Central Region – 21, Oti Region – 19, Upper East Region – 19, Volta Region – 16, Northern Region – 13, Upper West Region – 10, Western Region – 9, Western North Region – 4, North East Region – 2.

Savannah, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions that have not recorded coronavirus cases in the country.
