Coronavirus: Ghana’s Recovery Cases Rise To 229

Negative Coronavirus Test

The number of coronavirus recovery cases in Ghana have increased to 229 after 17 more patients recovered from the disease.

This new detail was confirmed on the Ghana Health Service’s COVID-19 website on May 2, 2020.

The Ghana Health Service also indicated that the country’s total cases have risen to 2,169 and also confirmed the death of one more patient.

Greater Accra Region still leads with the most cases, with Ashanti and Eastern having the second and third most recorded cases, respectively.

Greater Accra Region has 1,852, Ashanti Region – 117, Eastern Region – 87, Central Region – 21, Oti Region – 19, Upper East Region – 19, Volta Region – 16, Northern Region – 13, Upper West Region – 10, Western Region – 9, Western North Region – 4, North East Region – 2.

Savannah, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions that have not recorded coronavirus cases in the country.
