The University of Energy and Natural Resources has joined all the other schools that are using online platforms to ensure that teaching and learning continues, despite the halt in school schedule due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The university has deployed the UENR e-learning platform (https://elearning.uenr.edu.gh/login/index.php) so that teaching and learning can resume immediately for the remainder of the 2019/2020 Academic Year.
Do not worry about data because Vodafone Ghana has provided zero-rated data online sites where lecturers and students can access learning materials at no cost.
Management of the University is in discussion with other telecommunication companies including MTN and AirtelTigo to roll out similar offers.
Details of the zero-rated data sites will be sent to lecturers and students in the coming weeks.
Professor Kuwornu and staff of the IT Directorate will circulate to staff and students, step-by-step guide to using the online teaching and learning platform (orientation).
Dedicated email and telephone numbers will also be announced so that staff and students can seek technical assistance when the need arises.

All lecturers prepare to take lectures online on Monday, March 23, 2020, to Friday, April 03, 2020.
Course outlines, lecture notes, reading lists, audio-visual material will be uploaded and tested on Monday, April 06, 2020, to Friday, April 10, 2020.
Online orientation begins for staff and students on Monday, April 13, 2020, to Friday, April 17, 2020.
The University resumes for the Second Semester and lectures begin online on Monday, April 20, 2020.
Also, the course representatives of the various programmes will be contacted to help in the dissemination of learning materials on class Whatsapp platforms.
