Ghana’s Coronavirus Death Toll Rises To 17

Ghana’s coronavirus death toll now stands at 17, according to the Ghana Health Service.

This means that one more patient has succumbed to the disease since the last update from the Ghana Health Service.

The COVID-19 website of the Ghana Health Service also indicated that Ghana has recorded an increase in its total coronavirus cases. The country’s case count now stands at 2,074 after 403 new cases were recorded.

Ghana also recorded a boost in recovery cases after 24 new recoveries took the total to 212.

Greater Accra Region still leads with the most cases, with Ashanti and Eastern having the second and third most recorded cases, respectively.

Greater Accra Region has 1,795, Ashanti Region – 99, Eastern Region – 70, Central Region – 21, Oti Region – 19, Upper East Region – 19, Volta Region – 16, Northern Region – 13, Upper West Region – 10, Western Region – 9, North East Region – 2, Western North Region – 1.

Savannah, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East are the only regions that have not recorded coronavirus in the country.
