Post Malone’s ‘Circles’ Sets New Record For Most Weeks In Top 10 Of Billboard Hot 100

Post Malone Circles-New Record For Most Weeks In Top 10 Of Billboard Hot 100

“Circles,” Post Malone’s hit off his third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding, now holds the record for the most weeks spent in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with 34.

“Circles” becomes the first song to climb over the mysterious barrier of 33 weeks that Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” the Cardi B-assisted Maroon 5 song “Girls Like You,” and Malone’s collab track with Swae Lee “Sunflower” couldn’t surpass.

Even though “Circles” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 14, it took over two months for the song to reach No. 1 on November 30.

This is a positive turn of events for “Circles,” which was the focal point in a lawsuit filed earlier this month by Tyler Armes, who claimed that he “co-wrote the chords and the bass line for the song,” in addition to contributing to the main guitar melody. Armes is seeking a co-writer credit, as well as a cut of past and future royalties.
