You Get Paid For Work
So let’s start with the most obvious advantage that work has over school. When you work, you can put in the effort knowing that you are working towards a paycheck. However, with school you are working to see As on your student portal, in order to get a good job in future. In the University, you are not even sure that your efforts matter, because you keep hearing about how so many people are unemployed. Let’s just say it’s easier to visualize a paycheck than good grades that you might not even get because your lecturer is long.
