In the wake of the coronavirus spreading in Ghana and forcing the government to lockdown parts of the country, young people began banding together to help others in the society.

While some were donating Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to health facilities, others also ensured that the needy and those who lived hand to mouth and would lose almost all their income were supported.

The Super Seven, as we call them, came together to pool their resources to help others.

Enoch Mensah, Kobby Amoah, George Sarpong, Philip Yaw Sambo-Bikaame, Steve Amoako, Eugene Adomako-Tawiah and Marfo (Snow) Gyimah used their own resources to purchase relief items.

Later, others also joined in and donated items and cash.

The Super Seven then started donating these items to those most affected by the lockdown because they could not afford to stock up on food.

People living in communities such as Dansoman, Nima, Achimota, Bongo Junction, Labone, and others benefited from their giveaway which they called the #ShareTheLove project.

The items they donated included boxes of Indomie, bags of rice, packs of soft drinks, tinned tomatoes, and other essential food items.

“When you’re at home and you don’t go out to speak with people it is easy to assume that everybody can endure the lockdown. That is a big lie,” Enoch told Kuulpeeps.com in an interview.

“Imagine a single mother with four kids, forced to stay at home because of the lockdown, she has no source of income. Where is she getting the money to take care of her family?,” Enoch asked.

“People are finding it difficult to afford a square meal a day,” he added.

It is for this reason that their #ShareTheLove project is such a lifesaver.

This is their way to impact positively in the community and inspire others to also give back to society

Inspired by the stories they have heard, the Super Seven has decided to continue their #ShareTheLove project even after coronavirus is long gone.

You guys are amazing!!!
