Ghanaian-British business and technology executive, Lucy Quist has admonished Ghanaians to avoid “politicization and breeding mistrust” as the country observes measures put in place by the government to curtail the spread coronavirus.

“Dear Ghana, this is not the time for politicization and the breeding of mistrust,” she said in a tweet.

According to her, mistrust creates the biggest opportunity for the spread of the disease.

She, however, advised that as a country, we should encourage the dissemination of accurate and valid information.

“… let’s seek out accurate validated information before sharing,” she stated.

Lucy Quist is the current Managing Director at the London office of Morgan Stanley, an American multinational investment bank.

In 2018, she was appointed by Fifa as the Vice-President of the Normalisation Committee to restructure football in Ghana.

She launched her book titled The Bold New Normal in 2019.
