
Yesterday, the president of Ghana announced that the partial lockdown in Accra and Kumasi had been officially lifted. People are now free to go about their business but only if it is absolutely necessary. The ban on public gatherings, however still remains.
Several countries are still on lockdown, trying to contain the spread of the disease but aside from Ghana, there are many other countries that have eased the lockdown restrictions or lifted it entirely.

The mayor of Wuhan, where the pandemic started, said last week Wednesday that the city aimed to fully resume rail, flight and freight operations by the end of this month after a more than two-month lockdown which was lifted on 8 April.
