GIJ: Students Embark On “Say No To E-Exams” Campaign

Students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism are leading a campaign to halt the upcoming examination going to be held online. The Examination is scheduled for the 25th of May to 12th June 2020.

However, the student populace are unhappy with the decision by the Management of the Institution.

Students have raised some concerns concerning the ongoing online studying which management has not entirely resolved.

Some students have suggested that Management should take into consideration students living in remote areas who don’t have the means to access the E-learning platform much more the examination itself.

The concern of data to access the platform with the current situation of the unstable internet has been raised by students stating this can affect them during the examination process.

Some students have raised concerns about lecturers not participating in the E-learning exercise hence they don’t know how the examination will be conducted if the curriculum hasn’t been completed.

Here are some concerns from the students
