Research The Company
Interviewers often want to know how you would fit in at the company. This is why you are asked, “Why should we hire you?”. You should have some knowledge about the company, and what contributions you can make to the company’s vision. Luckily for you, most companies will spell it out for you on their website. All you need to do is to check the “About Us” page. You will learn the identity of the company and potentially how employees are treated. You can also look for articles that mention the company. It will also be a plus for you if you can search through your connections to find someone who might have a relationship with the company.
You should also practice for your interview. You can find frequently asked interview questions, and enlist a family member or friend to help you practice. You know what they say, practice makes perfect. Practising beforehand can make all the difference when you are actually in front of your interviewer.
