Ghana is doing all it can to curb the spread of coronavirus.
As part of expert advice on how best to fight the virus is the need to wash one’s hands regularly under running water.
This makes potable water essential in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
It is for this reason that President Akufo Addo has announced that Ghanaians will enjoy free water supply for the next three months.
Starting this April to June, no Ghanaian will be billed by the Ghana Water Company.
The President also stated that he has tasked the Ghana Water Company and the Electricity Company of Ghana to ensure stable supply of water and electricity, respectively, during the period of the restrictions.
The president made this known in an address to the nation on Sunday night.
