Burna Boy sent his “last personal tweet ever” yesterday, as he claims he is “too real” for the app.

This decision by the musician comes after he held a Q&A session with his fans on Twitter on Tuesday night.

During the interaction with his fans, he revealed how he felt when he lost the Best World Music Album award to fellow African Angelique Kidjo at the 2020 Grammys.

He also told his fans that a chat he had with Angelique Kidjo after the ceremony inspired his upcoming album, titled “Twice Tall” which is scheduled to be released in July 2020.

It’s, however, unclear why Burna Boy has decided to go off Twitter.

Judging by his earlier tweets, it seems Burna Boy is going off Twitter due to comments Nigerians make about him on the app.

“If what Nigerian Twitter said about me had any effect on me then I would be dead by now.”

“…Well I’ve proved that to be wrong. You can’t take nothing from me,” he wrote.

In his “last personal tweet”, he advised “everyone to use this COVID-19 times to really find out what your true purpose in this world is.”

“…train your mind and body to the fullest, get closer to the Most high and your family,” he added.

“Find out who is truly for you and who is really your enemy.”

“Let conscience and confidence lead you all as it has led me all my life,” he further advised.
