‘100 Pizza In Ten Days’: How This Restaurant Is Aiding The Fight Against COVID-19 With Pizza

Potbelly Shack, a restaurant located at Adjiriganor in East Legon is also, in its little way, supporting the frontline health staff who are helping combat COVID-19 in Ghana.

Many organisations and institutions have donated items such as hand sanitizers, Veronica buckets, protective materials to the frontline health staff, but Potbelly Shack are changing the narrative as they donate Pizza to these health workers.

The project dubbed ‘100 Pizza in Ten days’, aims at feeding health workers in different hospitals with pizza for 10 days, during the coronavirus pandemic period.

The restaurant has so far donated 50 boxes of pizza to the Maamobi Polyclinic, Police Hospital, Lekma Hospital, Kaneshie Hospital and Madina Polyclinic.

In taking this brilliant donation exercise further, the restaurant is set to announce a mobile money number that people can contribute to, as they aim at delivering 1000 boxes of pizza to the frontline health staff.
