These are very trying times as activities on campus have been turned upside down.
We know many people have a lot of questions about the current development of things on TTU campus but don’t stress, we are here to relieve some of that burden.
Here are answers to some issues on the current state of Takoradi Technical University.
I HAVEN’T PAID MY FEES IN FULL, WHAT SHOULD I DO AS ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN HALTED?
Students who haven’t registered their second-semester courses or made full payment of fees can still proceed to the bank and make the payment, and after, take part in the registration process accordingly before the end of this week to avoid any inconveniences. Students who fail to take advantage of this new opportunity shall attract a penalty of GHC 50, effective 23rd March 2020.
WHAT HAPPENS TO STUDENTS STAYING ON CAMPUS?
Owing to the President’s instruction for all University’s to shut down until further notice, Students who are already on campus are required to stay on campus and not exit the University Community, and students who are home should also stay at home..until further notice.
WHAT IS THE SCHOOL DOING TO PREVENT OUTSIDERS FROM MOVING ABOUT FREELY ON CAMPUS?
Management has put in place security measures at the various security posts to restrict non- students from entering our University Community, students are thereby admonished to cooperate well with our security system yet to be implemented to ensure some of these measures.
WHAT ABOUT OUR STUDIES?
Students are to note that Academic activities in our University shall still persist by the help of ICT tools. Students are required to stay active with their ICT tools, ie, student portal for such engagements.
WHAT HAPPENS TO STUDENTS ON ATTACHMENT?
All students who are currently on attachment are required not to halt the exercise, but continue until further notice.
