Following growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19 and the declaration by the World Health Organisation (WHO) of the disease as a pandemic, the Confederation Africa Football (CAF) has postponed the Total AFCON 2021 qualifiers until further notice.
The qualifiers were scheduled for 25 to 31 March 2020.
The Black Stars of Ghana were scheduled to play Sudan.
Other games postponed include the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifiers scheduled for 20 – 22 March 2020 and 27 – 29 March 2020.
Also, the women’s Afcon 2020 qualifiers scheduled for 8 – 14 April 2020 has been affected.
CAF, in a statement, noted that a new schedule will be announced in due time.
