Jumia is the leading pan-African e-commerce platform. Their platforms consist of the Jumia marketplace, their logistic service which enables shipment and delivery of packages from sellers to buyers and their payment service. The payment service facilitates transactions among users of their other platforms.

Your Responsibilities In The Role

  • You will assist in selling processes for customers and generate additional sales
  • You will coordinate information to customers who use Jumia’s website. This includes after-sales support
  • You will answer customer queries and address customer concerns
  • You will collect and store useful data
  • You will ensure follow up through emails, by phone or any required means

The Ideal Candidate

  • Should be a fast learner
  • Should have experience in customer service, and sales
  • Should be well organized
  • Should be resistant to stress
  • Should be KPI oriented
  • Should have good communication skills. Both verbal and written
  • Should be computer savvy
  • Should be versatile across different customer service functions
