Thaddeus Anim-Somuah: 29-Year-Old Ghanaian Profiled On Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe

Ghanaians are out there pushing the envelope of excellence further in the world of business and commerce.

At 29 years old, Thaddeus Anim-Somuah a Ghanaian-British is leading the construction of a new $56 million carbon-neutral plant.

This amazing feet among others made a pretty good case for him to be profiled as part of the 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

Thaddeus began his career at a chemical engineering company, Croda with a project aimed at decreasing the company’s emissions by 25%, according to his Forbes 30 Under 30 profile.

When he’s not leading behavioural safety for 350 people, he volunteers with newly-arrived refugees.

His current job title is Engineering Manager Projects at Croda. His job entails creating and implementing strategy and strategic projects mostly towards sustainability.

He is a huge champion for sustainability and inclusive future.

He is currently working on projects to enable Croda reach its 2030 goals of being Climate, Land and People positive (better than neutral).

“I’m also a board member of Nederlandse Procestechnologen (Dutch Society of Process Technologists) and a board member of AFBE -UK (Association for Black Ethnic Minority Engineers),” he told in an email.

Thaddeus moved from Labadi Accra to the United Kingdom as a child.
