2,400 Passengers Who Travelled To Ghana Before The Mandatory Quarantine To Be Tested

About 2,400 people who travelled into the country before the mandatory quarantine set in are due to be tested for coronavirus.

This is part of the government’s efforts to ensure that there is limited community spread of the virus.

According to the Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the 2,400 people were identified as persons who flew into the country on 14 particular flights from coronavirus active countries.

These flights landed in the country as far back as 3rd March this year.

A taskforce will use immigration details to identify the passengers.
