VIDEO: First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo Joins Tyler Perry’s #HesGotTheWholeWorldChallenge

A lot of people are feeling weary as the world fights coronavirus.

People have been asked to stay at home while governments try to ‘flatten the curve’.

In times as this, there’s some need for hope and positivity and it is for this reason that Tyler Perry asked his musician friends to record and share their own rendition of the song “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands.”

Since he started the challenge last Sunday, it has gone viral with Fantasia, Maria Carey and others releasing their own versions of the song.

In Ghana, Efya, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Becca, Dope Nation and others also joined the challenge with their own versions.

Today, the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has joined this global challenge.

“In the past few weeks across the world, we have been reminded of how limited and frail we are as human beings. Our faith and belief are being tested in ways unimaginable,” she said in an Instagram caption of the video.

“I commend all our health professionals and leaders doing all they can to fight the pandemic,” she added.

“Through it all let’s find comfort in knowing that God still remains supreme and we have to do our part and believe He will see us through this,” she noted.

Ending her message, she said “we can only cling to hope knowing He’s got the whole world in His hands.”
