Coronavirus: All Natives Of Kwahu Asked To Stay Away From The Area

In line with the directives by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Ghana, the Kwahu Traditional Council has issued some strict rules to prevent the crisis from escalating.

According to a statement released by the council, the rules were constituted by an advisory board that was set up by the Kwahuhene, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II.

Top of the rules that have been set is states that “all natives of Kwahu who currently live outside Kwahu should endeavour to continue to stay wherever they may be, in the weeks to come and postpone all planned visits to Kwahu until further notice.”

The council also advised residents of Kwahu to avoid travelling outside the area.

The council further advised its people to avoid hand shakes, hugs, social gatherings and also to constantly wash their hands with soap and running water.

They also entreated the strict observance of social distancing.
